Mr. Miller is an industry influencer with over twenty years of branding, design and advertising leadership experience. Miller has held top positions in influential design and advertising agencies including serving as President at Studio Number One (SNO) founded by Shepherd Faiery and nearly ten years as Design Director for TBWA\Chiat\Day.
His philosophy has helped shape today’s branded environment and build brands such as Apple, Pepsi Co, Nissan / Infiniti, P&G, and Sony Computer Entertainment America. As a firm leader and visionary, Miller touches every brand each agency handles, engineering meaningful brand experiences targeted to their intended audience. Miller is able to blend his detail-oriented standard for design with creative leadership to supports an agency’s effort to sustain award-winning work by increasing the firm’s attention to detail and graphic elegance.
His work has shaped the LAX Gateway Enhancement Project. Other highlights from Miller’s accomplishments include the comprehensive rebranding of Gatorade, from logo and packaging to new product development.
Miller is a graduate of the Executive MBA program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
He is a professor at his alma mater, Art Center College of Design, where his philosophy and instruction focuses on building brands by using the process of disruption in order to create successful brand stories.
